Volunteers are a very important part of the Humane Educational Society team. Without your dedication of time & personal involvement, this organization could not exist.

Three words sum up the HES’s operating philosophy: respect, loyalty & teamwork. Most volunteers are individuals who have visited or adopted from the HES, or are student interns. HES prefers volunteers to be at least 18 years of age, although exceptions are made with the approval of the individual’s parent or guardian.
